She loves to sing, shake her booty, read books, play with older kids, watch animals, pet our cat Penny, and to hide in clothes stores. She never ceases to entertain us at all times. She says the cutest things, most we understand, but occasionally she will repeat things we have no clue what she is trying to say. Her latest made up word is pembray? Any ideas?
We think DK is pretty smart. She knows her ABCs, her days of the week, can count to 12, and says her whole name (Delaney Kate Anderson). She has an amazing memory and she is extremely perceptive. She is great at reading people's emotions.
Thad has been spending some quality time with DK since he is done with school. Delaney cries when he picks her up at her church school because she loves her teachers and friends so much. We think that is a pretty good sign. She has learned a lot at school, such as how to sing Jesus Loves Me and God Our Father, how to share, and how to bite. Yikes! That last one has been tough. Delaney is a regular in "thinking time". Hopefully, she gets over this little phase before she gets kicked out!
Delaney had a great time at her 2nd birthday party at our neighborhood park. She had her friends, grandparents, and aunt there. She loved all the under the sea games and activities. She enjoyed opening her presents and kept saying, "I like it!"
It is hard to sum Delaney up in a few paragraphs, so come visit and see what an awesome little girl she is!
