She is getting her 2 top teeth.

She is playing peek-a-boo.

She is trying lots of new foods. 

She loves bubbles! She tries to eat them in the bathtub. 

She tries to stand in the drawers of the coffee table. 

She dropped a few Easter eggs in Thad's speaker. (She got time-out for this.)

She knows what NO means and doesn't like to hear it. 

She has learned to lift the toilet seat. 

She pees every single time I stick her in the bathtub.

She likes to pet Penny, but sometimes pulls her fur. 

She waves hello and goodbye like a champ. 

She gets so excited when I come and visit her at school. 

She can't believe she is almost 1!!!!!

She misses her dad and can't wait for him to get home.

Delaney's first sugar-free popsicle!

Delaney is doing some new things! She is officially cruising now. To those of you who don't know, cruising is when kids walk while holding on to an object. She walks from one end of the couch to the other and all around her crib. She walks and crawls all over Thad and I. She is very daring! She is growling like crazy, especially when we say, "What does a tiger say?" We are trying to teach her duck and cat, but she just growls! We are also working on having her hold up 1 finger when we ask how old she is going to be. She has done it a few times. We will try to get a picture soon. She is eating pretty well, but isn't really interested in meat. Lyla's mommies are trying to convince me that DK wants to be a vegetarian! We will see...

In-Laws' Visit

Tim, Sandy, Rebecca Brown, and I went to Thad's concert while Aunt Christy babysat. Rebecca was in town for a conference. She married Thad and I. 
We took the Andersons to breakfast at the Driskill Hotel. Delaney tried a lemon for the first time. She made some faces, but I think she liked it because she kept putting it in her mouth. 

Thad and I went on a date while his family babysat. 

We got a glass of wine at one of our favorite places.
