Poor Delaney

I got a call Thursday from Delaney's school that she had a fever and needed to be picked up. I rushed over to get her and took her to the doctor. Luckily she didn't have a UTI or the flu. She has a baby virus. There isn't much you can do for it.

Her fever kept going up so I stayed home with her Friday. She seemed to be getting better so we decided to take her to North Carolina. She was ok at the airport, but not so great on the plane. It was a good thing it was a quick flight. We are staying with Thad's sister Christy here in NC. We have enjoyed seeing friends, but Delaney has not been her usual self. We are mostly sticking around Christy's place. We leave tomorrow in the evening. Hopefully DK does better on our return flight. I haven't decided if she will go back to school Tuesday. My mom may come and stay with her.

Being sick during travel is no fun for anybody!
